Perhaps the patriarch of the northwest Indiana jam band scene since the turn of the century, Chester Brown has managed to fuel one of the Chicago area’s hottest music scenes in their 24-year tenure. From humble blue-collar beginnings, the group has culminated their own unique blend of rust-belt rock, drawing from a wide range of musical influences, like classic jam heroes the Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd, to outlaw country and bluegrass greats such as Willie Nelson and Del McCoury.
